Thor is such a great boy and thinks divorce sucks!!!!! 5 years old and best buddy to Nali he arrived into rescue due to divorce and unsuitable housing for a Doberman, let alone two of them. Thor seems to be Nali's protector, watching over her and a bit more serious about life then Nali, who is all goofball:) Thor is a bit standoffish to other dogs but we will continue to introduce him to more and see how he reacts. He allows Nali to eat his food and take his toys but he is not keen on another dog in his personal "stuff". Thor is interested in the ducks, geese and chickens that roam the Doberman Ranch but doesn't seem to have a high prey drive, just watches, doesn't chase them. Thor lived with children both young and old in his previous home. Thor likes to play ball and go for walks, does great at bathing and loves car rides. Housebroke, crate trained he could not be more perfect! Thor has had basic obedience classes with his previous owner. He sits nicely for meals. Currently Thor is around 30 pounds overweight so we are working on getting his slim handsome Doberman profile back into shape and reduce stress on his joints, heart and prolong his life. Thor will visit the vet to get his thyroid checked while we cut back on his food. Thor is current on vaccines, heart worm negative, nuetered and ready to find human love again. He would prefer to find a home with his gal-pal Nali as he feels she needs him, which she probably would prefer too. We will consider all applications and the best home for them, either together or apart.
