Experienced Dobermans owners only! Boston is a middle aged, 5 year old, red Doberman who can't get a break and really wants to find love. Boston really is a great guy and is thriving in his foster home. He goes to the dog park three times a day or more, as his foster dad doesn't have a yard. Boston loves going for walks with his foster sister and brother, also Dobermans. Boston loves to hang with most dogs and is a good boy, but he can be a bit bossy, so an experienced Doberman owner would be best suited for this boy. Most of the time Boston is a happy, bouncy, red Doberman male but he has a bit of anxiety. Not a cuddler and prefers to sleep by himself, we have found that if he is resting he needs his space and would prefer everyone stay out of his bubble. That's cool we think! Boston was picked up as a stray in Texas prior to coming into our rescue so not much is known about his past. He can become possessive about high value things, such as bones and soft comfy beds but it is well managed if things are picked up. He has had some basic obedience training with his foster home in Texas prior to coming to Minnesota. He is a great car rider and would love to go out and about with his human!! Boston's current and very Doberman experienced foster, goes to the dog park daily. Boston is fully vetted, neutered and chipped. The only thing this boy needs is a forever home and a human experienced with the breed!! Please apply if you have Doberman experience and are interested in a loyal, loving companion that will be by your side for his forever!
